Two men who died in a crash in Northfleet last week were both from Gravesend, police have confirmed.
Aged 21 and 36, the men died after the silver Audi A3 they were travelling in was involved in a collision with a taxi, just after midnight on Thursday September 17, on the A226 Thames Way, between Springhead Road and the A2260.
A female passenger from the black Citroen Dispatch taxi was seriously injured and was taken to a London hospital, where she remained this week in a stable condition.
Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening, but police say she is still receiving treatment.
Officers from Kent Police’s serious collision investigation unit are still appealing for witnesses and would like to talk to anyone who saw either vehicle in the moments before the collision.
Motorists with dash cam footage are also being sought.
The next of kin of the two deceased men have been made aware.
The driver of the taxi was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Witnesses can call police on 01622 798 538, quoting reference HW/DS/80/20.
