Love Island winner Jack Fincham has said he is marrying Dani Dyer next year in their first interview since leaving the villa.

Talking to The Sun, the pen-salesman from Swanley said the couple will tie the knot because "when you know, you know".

It has been revealed the couple secured nearly 80% of the vote as they cruised to victory, with the final pulling in 4.1 million viewers at its peak on Monday.

He said: “We’re getting married next year, 100%t. Like my mum said to me so many times, ‘When you know about someone, you just know’.

“And now I know what she’s talking about. I just know that’s what we want to do.”

Jack and Dani coupled up on the first show and stayed together throughout, despite Jack’s ex Ellie ones, from Chatham, entering the villa to stir things up.

Despite 2,500 complaints against to Ofcom about the scenes of Dani crying, the 21-year-old couldn’t understand the fuss.

She said: “Oh listen, they’ve got to make a TV show. If I weren’t crying the viewers would drop.

“Yeah it was hard, it was a test for me and Jack. But we got back together. We had the up, we had the down — and now we’re up.”

Marriage and kids are on the cards for the couple in the future but for now they are looking forward to moving in together and enjoying each others' company.

Speaking to The Sun, Jack said: “It’s the only logical thing to do. We’ve lived together for two months. If I lived separately it would be rubbish, so it’s the only thing I’d want to do now.”

Dani added: “We’re going to enjoy summer, enjoy each other, because then we’ll have to start looking for settees and that.”

Their membership to the ‘Do Bits Society’- the name given to contestants who had got intimate on the show – is still unknown and will likely stay that way, with Jack merely saying ‘a gentleman never tells, mate’.
