James Thompson puts Hartley on the road to a welcome win

Hartley Country Club returned to winning ways with a five-wicket win over Blackheath in the Shepherd Neame Kent League Premier Division on Saturday.
Darrell Carter took three wickets and Andy Tutt captured the important scalp of top-scorer Paul Frith (38) as the visitors were bowled out for 114 off 36.4 overs. Opener James Thompson (44) then helped guide Hartley to victory in 32 overs.
Harvel opener Dushanthaajana Ranatunga cracked 52 to help his team maintain winning momentum with a six-wicket victory at Downham & Bellingham in Division 2.
Desmond Bailey (3-32), Julian Taylor (3-15) and Harry Ashdown (3-20) were influential in dismissing the home side for 121. Ranatunga and fellow opener David Walker (30) helped see Harvel to a win inside 21 overs.
Pat Williams and Ron Turner both hit half-centuries as Dartford beat Bromley Common (240-6) by five wickets in the same division
