Ebbsfleet boss Liam Daish has urged his team to keep their destiny in their own hands.

The Fleet produced an improved performance to claim a point at Welling on Tuesday – and stay in the Blue Square Bet South play-off places.

"There are still a lot of points to play for and lots of twists and turns," said Daish, pictured.

"We hope we are going to be in there but there are a lot of good sides around us that will want that play-off spot as well.

"We need to make it happen, we’re not going to leave our destiny in other people’s hands."

The Fleet host Bishop’s Stortford on Saturday (kick-off 1pm), hoping to build on the draw.

Daish added: "We need to get full points from that because it will make the point against Welling even bigger."

Phipp (ankle) should be fit to start while the Fleet could give a debut to Greek midfielder Giannoulis Fakinos after he received international clearance.
