A tale of two red cards saw Ebbsfleet cling on for a much-needed draw at Kettering in the Blue Square Bet Premier.
Despite a promising start at Nene Park, the visitors fell behind on 13 minutes when David Bridges put ex-Gillingham manager Mark Stimson's side ahead.
Fleet were soon back on level terms and a man to the good when Calum Willock was brought down in the area by Kettering defender Nathan Koo-Boothe. Willock stepped up to convert the penalty on 22 minutes after Koo-Boothe was shown a straight red card.
Jamie Darville completed a quick turnaround to put Liam Daish's side 2-1 ahead after 33 minutes. Darville calmly slotted past Kettering keeper Laurie Walker after he was put through one-on-one.
Josh Dawkin levelled the scores on 50 minutes and the hosts could've moved into a 3-2 lead when Yado Mambo (pictured) was shown a red card on the hour mark. Bridges failed to convert from the penalty spot though as Fleet keeper Preston Edwards watched his spot-kick crash against the crossbar.
The point leaves Ebbsfleet in 16th in the table.
