Ebbsfleet's winning run on the road came to an end with an eventful 2-2 draw at playoff-chasing Kidderminster in Blue Square Premier on Tuesday night.
The draw - Fleet's first in five months - took them six points clear of the drop-zone, though the sides below them boast several games in hand, but brought an end to a four-match winning streak away from Stonebridge Road.
Harriers took an early lead when Brian Smikle was sent clear after five minutes and his cross found an unmarked Darryl Knights to head beyond Lance Cronin.
Magno Vieira went off with a hamstring strain on 18 minutes, being replaced by Scott Ginty and the hosts enjoyed a spell of pressure but Fleet levelled on 36 minutes when Peter Holmes found Moses Ashikodi who fired in his fourth goal in as many games with an acrobatic volley.
Cronin was called on to deny former Fleet man Chris McPhee after the break as the hosts began to dominate, but against the run of play Ginty unleashed a 20-yard effort on 68 minutes to make it 2-1.
However the hosts levelled just over 10 minutes from time when Smikle was sent through one-on-one and Harriers went in search of a winner and Cronin had to make several smart saves before Stefan Bailey denied Smikle with a superb goal-line clearance in the dying seconds.
