Knife-wielding Asian woman hunted by police after threatening people in Milton Place, Gravesend

A knife-wielding young woman threatened a couple and demanded cash, police have said.
The incident took place Milton Place, Gravesend, and not Milton Avenue as initially reported.
The man was approached by a woman between 11pm and 11.15pm on Thursday.
She threatened him and demanded money but he managed to run away.
The woman is then said to have threatened the woman, aged 20, again demanding money at knife-point.
The victim handed her some cigarettes.
The mother of the woman threatened said the attack happened near to the skatepark in the town.
The woman, who didn’t want to be named said: “My daughter is in shock about the incident, but is safe, that’s the main thing.
"She was with her boyfriend at the time and the woman threatened them with a knife."
The offender is described as Asian, 20 years old, of slim build, wearing an oversized grey hooded jumper or coat and tracksuit bottoms.
Police also want to speak to a man who is thought to have been there at the time and may be able to help with inquiries. He is described as Asian and wearing a headscarf or turban and a multi-coloured t-shirt.
