Drivers are warned to expect lengthy delays after a three-vehicle crash and a breakdown have closed two parts of a major dual carriageway.

The A2 coastbound is clogged up from the A2260 Ebbsfleet turn off following the smash which took place during rush hour this evening.

There are also long delays and one lane is closed due to a broken down vehicle on A2 eastbound at M25 J2 (Darenth Interchange).

National Highways tweeted: “Long delays are building on approach from Bexley, Dartford [and] M25, currently adding at least 45 minutes to journey times.”
