A lifeboat crew was called out to reports of a fire on a vessel near Gravesend.
The RNLI launched at 4.41pm yesterday (Thursday) to help rescue the boat in Sea Reach close to the Thames Gateway.
There was a fire in the engine compartment so the crew turned off the power and extinguished it.
All on-board were safe and well and the vessel was taken under tow and placed alongside at Town pier.
