Emergency services are at the scene of a crash involving a car and a lorry.

The collision happened on the coastbound carriageway of the A2 near Gravesend at around 8am, near the turn off for the Tollgate services.

Traffic is said to be coping well, with drivers facing around 10 minutes of delays.

Motorists are being told to expect normal conditions by 10am.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 8.20am to a collision involving a lorry and a car on the coastbound carriageway of the A2 near Gravesend.

"Officers attended the scene where no injuries were reported. The carriageway was closed while one of the vehicles was moved from the carriageway to the hard shoulder."
