Gravesend man arrested for allegedly carrying knife in The Avenue

A 41-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon and criminal damage.
Police were called at around 9.40pm yesterday to a report a man had been seen damaging the window of a building in Windmill Street, Gravesend.
Officers attended, but the suspect had left.
At 12.35am today, officers received a further report of a man behaving in a disorderly manner while carrying a knife in The Avenue.
The individual, who is from Gravesend, was arrested.
He remains in custody as enquiries continue.
