Assault on man in disturbance in Stanley Road, Swanscombe

Police are appealing for witnesses to a disturbance in which a man was assaulted.
Officers were called just before 5pm on Friday after reports of trouble involving a group of people in Stanley Road, Swanscombe.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers attended and spoke to those present. It was reported that damage had occurred to a property and a man had been assaulted by men who were known to him.”
A temporary road closure, put in place while initial enquiries were carried out, was lifted later that evening and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
