Man dies after "serious" fire in Parrock Street, Gravesend

A man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene of a "serious" fire that broke out at a block of flats on Sunday.
Emergency services rushed to the scene in Parrock Street, Gravesend, shortly after the blaze started.
Three fire engines attended, and all four flats in the block were evacuated while crews extinguished the flames.
Kent Police spokesman James Walker said: "Kent Police was called to a report that a property was on fire in Parrock Street, Gravesend, at 7.03pm on Sunday, May 13.
"Officers attended and provided support to crews from Kent Fire and Rescue Service and the South East Coast Ambulance Service.
"A man in his 50s was pronounced deceased at the scene and the circumstances are not being treated as suspicious.
"A report will be prepared for the coroner."
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
