Man falls from boat mast outside Clarendon Royal Hotel in Gravesend

Ambulance and fire crews were called after a man fell from a boat mast.
The emergency services, including two fire engines, were seen outside the Clarendon Royal Hotel, Royal Pier road, Gravesend, where the incident took place.
The man suffered a few injuries, including some fractures.

A witness at the scene saw the man concious and talking after the fall.
He said: "He fell from the mast and apparently broke his wrist.
"He had it bandaged up and a gash on his leg.
"He was concious and talking to paramedics."
Crews needed to use multiple ladders and five members on the barge to help the man off.
South East Coast Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
