A man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after another man was stabbed twice at a block of flats last week.
Lemuel Lee, of Rees Gardens, Croydon, was charged by police on Friday after officers were called to Gravesham Court, in Clarence Row, Gravesend, at around 1pm.
The 19-year-old appeared at Medway Magistrates Court this morning.
Lee, wearing a grey jumper and red joggers, spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and nationality as British.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday July 22.
The victim was taken to hospital for emergency surgery after being stabbed twice in the abdomen, piercing his liver and cutting his heart.
