A man has appeared in court charged with dangerous driving following the death of a 16-year-old.
Koaldeep Singh Lit, 35, stood at Dartford Magistrates' Court yesterday (Thursday) charged in connection with the death of Josh Callaghan at The Overcliffe, Gravesend, after an incident on January 24.
Singh Lit, who is from the Strood area, has also been charged separately with being in possession of cocaine, a class A drug.
His defence team made an application to withhold his address but magistrates refused it and will release the details in seven days, unless an appeal against their ruling is successful.
Singh Lit has been committed to Maidstone Crown Court for both offences, where he will next appear on Friday, October 9.
