Police called to Alfred Place, Northfleet

A man is in custody after people called 999 concerned for his safety.
Few details have been released about the incident in Northfleet officers were called to earlier today.
Police spokesman Vicki Foster said: “Kent Police was called at 6.21am to a report of a concern for the welfare of a man in Alfred Place, Northfleet.
“Officers attended the area and located the man who is currently in custody. Officers continue to conduct a number of inquiries in the area.”
