Two men are to appear in court accused of stealing a car in a knifepoint robbery.
It is alleged the victim was standing next to his Mercedes in Stanley Road, Swanscombe, when he was approached by a man with a knife on Friday, April 12.
He tried to get away but was reportedly assaulted by a second man and his car keys and the vehicle were stolen.
Later the same day, police seized a van in Dartford thought to have been used by the suspects.
They also recovered the victim's car in Greenhithe.
Two men were arrested yesterday (May 9) after an investigation by Kent Crime Squad officers.
Brume Tadafe, of Taylor Close, Deptford, and Laurence Oyewole, of Sylvester Road, Finchley, London, have been charged with robbery.
Tadafe, 34, and Oyemole, 40, were remanded to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court today (May 10).
