Mobile phone mugger hits woman in face

A WOMAN walking home alone fell to the ground after being punched in the face by a robber aged about 30.
The incident happened after the 57-year-old victim was approached in Pelham Road, Gravesend, by the attacker who offered her money.
He continued to follow her into nearby Grange Road where the woman got out her mobile phone to call the police.
As she did so the man attacked the woman, hitting her in the face and causing her to fall to the ground.
A neighbour emerged from his house and disturbed the man who ran off towards Pelham Road with the victim’s mobile phone. The woman received bruising to her face.
Police in North Kent are appealing for information following a robbery which happened on Tuesday, November 22, at about 3.20am.
The offender is described as an Asian man, about 5ft 7in tall. He was wearing a dark coloured top and blue jeans.
