Ebbsfleet were cheered on to victory in the Blue Square Bet South final by more than 2,000 of their own fans.
Hosts Farnborough released a revised attendance figure on Monday evening, pushing the final crowd up to 4,267.
That figure included 2,158 fans who went through the away turnstiles - meaning the Fleet had more fans at the game than Farnborough.
It was the biggest ever attendance for a game at Cherrywood Road.
Farnborough chairman Simon Hollis said: “We hope that both sets of supporters enjoyed our hospitality and we wish Ebbsfleet all the best in Blue Square Premier.”
