Woman ‘punched in chest’ by driver following crash along A2 near Gravesend

A man is reported to have punched a woman in the chest following a crash.
The victim was riding her red Honda MSX125 motorbike on the A2 near Shorne, Gravesend, when she was involved in a collision with the driver of a black Audi A7 S-Line.
The driver signalled to the motorcyclist to stop on the hard shoulder, which the victim did.
However, when the driver got out he is reported to have punched the woman in her chest.
It caused her to fall onto the floor, causing injuries to her body and damage to the bike. The driver then reportedly fled.
Following the incident, which happened at around 4.40pm on Saturday, July 22, police carried out several inquiries.
Officers talked to a man under caution, however they are now appealing for witnesses who may have seen the alleged attack.
