A2 multi-vehicle crash at Marling Cross Interchange near Gravesend

A multi-vehicle crash which brought traffic to a halt along the A2 near Gravesend has been cleared.
The incident happened at the Marling Cross Interchange between the A2260 and the Tollgate services along the coastbound carriageway this afternoon.
Four vehicles, including a lorry, two cars and one van were involved.
Police and ambulance crews were called at 2.30pm. There are not believed to be any serious injuries.
Traffic officers also attended and the impacted vehicles have now been moved to the hard shoulder.
The incident was cleared shortly after 4pm.
It caused large delays in the area with cars and lorries seen queuing near the Springhead Park junction at Ebbsfleet.
There were also additional delays along the M25 clockwise between Junction 1B and 2 for Darenth due to a broken down lorry and an inside lane was closed for recovery.
The South East Coast Ambulance Service has been asked for more information.
