Fifth arrest after a man is stabbed in the leg during an assault in Christian Fields Avenue, Gravesend

A fifth person has been arrested by police investigating a serious assault in Gravesend.
A 16-year-old boy was held yesterday on suspicion of assault and burglary in connection with the incident in Christian Fields Avenue, and is still in custody today.
It comes days after a man was stabbed in the leg during the attack in Christian Fields Avenue.
Officers were called at 4.55pm on Saturday, after a man suffered "a serious leg injury consistent with a stab wound".
He was taken to a London hospital and a police helicopter was scrambled to carry out a search of the area, and the four people arrested in connection were held in custody before being released on bail.
A 15-year-old boy has been bailed until Thursday, February 23, and a 16-year-old boy, an 18-year-old man and a 40-year-old man have been bailed until March 1.
