Police called out to Lambardes park after reports a naked man was touching himself while watching children

Police were called out to a park after reports a man wearing nothing but sandals was touching himself while watching children playing.

Parents out with their children on Thursday afternoon called the police after noticing a man, believed to be aged in his 50s, had exposed himself.

The man, who was reported to be completely naked apart from a pair of sandals, was seen near the garages just outside Lambardes park in New Ash Green between 1pm and 2pm.

He is described as white, aged around 50 and with dark hair.

The police are now appealing for witnesses following reports that a man indecently exposed himself in New Ash Green.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police attended an area of parkland close to Lambardes, where it was alleged that a man had been seen wearing no clothes and was committing an indecent act."

Officers went to the area, and questioned people for witness accounts.
