Plans for a new employment scheme have been given the go-ahead at Ebbsfleet Garden City.
The development at Northfleet Embankment East is a joint venture between Ebbsfleet Development Corporation and Gravesham council.
It could see up to 690 jobs created across 240,000sq ft of industrial space and business incubator units, plus office and a retail space.
It forms part of the North Kent Enterprise Zone and firms locating to the site will be eligible for business rate discounts worth up to £55,000 a year until 2022.
The site will also compliment a housing scheme for 600 homes in the area planned by developer Keepmoat, which will also go before a planning committee later in the year.
