An elderly woman has been injured in a suspected hit and run.
A vehicle stopped on the zebra crossing in Harmer Street, Gravesend, after hitting the pedestrian near the junction with The Terrace, but the occupants are said to have fled.
An eyewitness claimed an elderly person had been hurt and three people had ran from the vehicle.
There was damage to the windscreen of the car on the crossing, a red two-door Hyundai.
It happened at around 12.30pm.

The air ambulance also landed nearby.
The road reopened at around 6pm and traffic has cleared.
