Police appeal after incident at petrol station in Milton Road, Gravesend

Detectives are appealing for information after a man was left seriously injured after an alleged assault.

Officers originally made an appeal looking for two men, but one of them, a 25-year-old from Northfleet, was arrested on Boxing Day.

He has since been released pending further inquiries.

Police were called at around 11pm to a disturbance at the Esso petrol station in Milton Road, Gravesend, on Christmas Day.

The victim was taken to a London hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
