Police appeal for dashcam footage of assault inside vehicle travelling between Gravesend and Bexley

Officers investigating an assault of a woman are appealing for drivers with dash cam footage.

The woman was reported to have been assaulted inside a vehicle travelling coastbound on the A2 between Gravesend and Bexley at around 1.10pm to 1.40pm on Tuesday, March 6.

Officers attended Valley Drive, Gravesend and arrested Brendan Scott, of St Patrick’s Gardens.

The 31-year-old has been charged with assault, dangerous driving and using a motor vehicle without third party insurance.

He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court yesterday, where he was remanded in custody and is due to appear before Woolwich Crown Court on Wednesday, April 4.

Police would like to hear from any drivers who may have seen the incident which was reported to have involved a silver or grey Audi A6 Quattro estate.
