Cannabis cultivation found at disused church in Northfleet

Police uncovered a cannabis farm in a disused church after being called to a burglary in Northfleet.
Officers were called at 11.56pm on Wednesday December 22 to a report of a burglary at the church in Rose Street.
On arrival they found the lights on inside the building, along with a broken window, and after entering the building they found between 100 to 150 cannabis plants.
The plants have since been removed and the premises was made secure.
Enquiries are ongoing to find those responsible.
