Police investigation launched after early-hours car blaze in Gravesend

A family's car went up in flames in a double arson attack while they slept.
The Renault Megane was completely destroyed in the blaze on the driveway of a house in Mollison Rise, Gravesend.
Another car, a BMW, failed to take light in the incident shortly after midnight on Monday.
Two fire crews from Thames-side station spent about an half-and-a-half at the scene.
Police are investigating the cause of the fire and are appealing for anyone with information or who witnessed suspicious activity to come forward.
