Teenager arrested on suspicion of theft after officers execute warrant at address in Valley Drive area of Gravesend

A teenager was arrested after police found suspected stolen items when they executed a warrant and at an address in Gravesend.
Officers investigating reports that items were being stolen from cars parked in the town executed the warrant in the Valley Drive area.
After entering the property, police found number of items, including power tools and other electrical items suspected to have been stolen and arrested a 17-year-old boy.
The thefts are reported to have taken place between Monday, July 9 and Wednesday, July 11, and the Gravesham community policing team carried out the pre-planned warrant under the Theft Act.
The boy was arrested on suspicion of theft and has since been released pending further inquiries.
