A unique dining event tapping into food memories of yesteryear is taking place at a pop-up restaurant next week.
Only Food and Courses will be held at The Jolly Drayman in Gravesend on Saturday, October 10.
Developed by Robbie Lorraine, an award-winning chef from Ebbsfleet, the menu will include modern takes on classic dishes from the 80s and 90s such as crab scotch egg, confit duck eclairs and pop tarts.
Robbie has an impressive CV, having worked at The Shard, Royal Ascot, and Chelsea Football Club.
He said: “I’m really chuffed to be hosting this event and can’t wait to have a bit of fun with the menu.
“Food brings back so many memories for people and I really enjoy tapping into some of these with some modern twists on things we used to eat.”
The first sold-out event was in London last month and Robbie hopes to run more.
He added: “The interest in what we’re doing has been incredible and we have some big plans in place to take this concept even further.”
You can buy tickets for the five-course tasting menu here .
