Work will soon be underway to complete a £90,000 revamp of a popular play area.
It will feature an array of new equipment including swings, toddler trampoline, spinner bowl and roundabout.
The work, which will take place in the grounds of Cascades Leisure Centre in Thong Lane, Gravesend, is set to begin at the end of May.
The investment will also go towards a new multi-play unit for toddlers and juniors, track rider, three-seat seesaw, benches, tunnels, talking tubes and play panels.
Contractors will repaint the existing fence, install two new self-closing gates and a new entrance path.
All existing equipment will be removed and recycled by Gravesham council's own staff to reduce costs, with contractor KOMPAN undertaking the refurbishment.
Cabinet member for tourism and youth, Cllr Harold Craske, said: "I am really pleased we will be improving this play area in time for summer and it will be a fantastic area for kids to play in.
"KOMPAN is the world’s number one playground supplier so we are really confident we are going to get a top quality upgrade with this refit."
