A serial prankster from Gravesend stormed the X Factor stage while contestant Honey G was performing last night.
The rapper was on stage when Daniel Jarvis and three other people got on stage during the live show and tried to steal her trademark cap and sunglasses.
The incident, which was seen by millions watching the show, saw Jarvis, post a video on his Facebook page moments before getting on stage to say he was about to make his X Factor debut.
The prank, which saw music mogul Simon Cowell jump up from his chair and rush to the controversial singer’s side and a security guard also ran onto the stage.
Simon looked shocked as the camera quickly cut away from the stage as one of the men grabbed hold of Honey and tried to get her microphone out of her hands.
Jarvis, who was wearing a grey coat uploaded the brazen video as he was standing in the crowd behind the judges.
During the clip, he winks at the camera and holds his finger to his lips and wrote a caption: “Making my X factor debut today so excited. Live on itv1 from 8pm!!!”
It comes not long after he was released from prison for another 'prank', staging fake art heist at National Portrait Gallery.
He was jailed for that one for 20 weeks, back in May of this year.
During the latest X factor debacle, the stage was invaded and the camera zoomed in on the judges panel as Nicole looked concerned, and Louis and Sharon tried to distract from what was going on on-stage.
As security moved the pranksters on, the camera returned to the stage and Honey G caught her composure.
Simon then said: “I’m so sorry about that. At one point I thought it was part of the act.”
Sharon added: “See you drive people wild with excitement.” then the panel settled back down in their seats.
Video: Jarvis gets ready for his stunt
Its not the first time Jarvis, 27, has caused controversy.
He is part of a group of YouTube pranksters called TrollStation who carry out various shenanigans.
Jarvis, of Whitehill Road, has already been banned from Gravesham council’s swimming pools and football matches for three years.
He was excluded from every stadium in England and Wales after he invaded Tottenham Hotspurs’ pitch at White Hart Lane with two others.
A video of the pitch invasion was posted on YouTube channel Trollstation, which also posted footage of fake kidnappings in Gravesend of someone identified as @BMWJarvo, which is listed as the Twitter handle of Jarvis.
Jarvis was forbidden to enter Cascades, Swanscombe and Cygnet leisure centres after he and a friend larked about after closing time.
He also attempted to deliver a live pig to David Cameron when he an another man approached Downing Street police claiming to have a delivery for him.
The move followed accusations made by Lord Ashcroft that Mr Cameron took part in a bizarre university initiation ceremony involving a dead pig.
Jarvis also caused a splash at the Diving World Series when he evaded security to leap from a board in front of stunned spectators.
He bypassed officials at London’s Aquatics Centre on and stripped off before jumping into the pool.
