Children were left without any presents on Christmas Day after a family home was ransacked by thieves who broke in via a kitchen window.
Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following the burglary in Sole Street, Cobham, having been called to the property at 1.48pm.
Not only were presents taken from under the Christmas tree, so too were gifts from a recent birthday, a medical bag, and a number of jewellery and electrical items.
Investigating officers believe the burglary took place between 12pm and 1.30pm on the day, while the family were out.
On Boxing Day, a member of the public found the medical bag in an alley near Gravesend Minor Injuries Unit in Bath Street, Gravesend, where they handed it in.
Officers would like to talk to the person who found the medical kit as they believe it will help them to progress their investigation, plus anyone who may have information about the burglary or knows where the stolen items may be.
