Urgent repairs on the railway are set to cause headaches for commuters today.
Southeastern says trains that normally start from and finish their journeys at Gravesend will not be able to run between to and from Dartford for the rest of the day.
Thameslink services will still be able to run between these stations, however.
On its website, Southeastern explained: "A set of points at Gravesend (a piece of equipment that allows trains to move from one line to another) requires a repair which will need to take place when trains are not running.
"Network Rail response staff have carried out a temporary repair to allow trains to run through the station."
Trains through the station were initially held while engineers investigated the points failure.
Rail users will be allowed to travel on Thameslink services in the meantime and tickets will still be accepted, at no extra cost, on Southeastern services between Rainham and London.
