Rap star Chip cancels Gravesend gig

Rapper Chip has bowed out from opening the new club CC Rooms in Gravesend High Street this weekend, it has emerged.
A tweet from the club said they have now secured Skepta.
The club replaces Karma which closed down in November.
The new owners are hoping Skepta will help raise money for the Stacey Mowle Appeal.
Tomorrow night there will be a charity launch party followed by a performance by the rapper on Saturday.
Both events will raise funds for the appeal.
Events manager Laura Prodrick said: “It is important for CC Rooms to be in the heart of the community of Gravesend.
"When the Stacey Mowle Appeal approached us to support their charity it was a no-brainer.
"We are proud to contribute to towards the goals of the appeal.”
Entry to the club will be free on Friday for all those who text their name, plus up to one guest to 07940 020081 by noon on Friday.
All guests will be asked to make a minimum donation to the charity of £1 on entry.
On Saturday, entry will cost £7 in advance or £10 on the night.
