A226 Thames Way in Gravesend closed after collision between tanker lorry and car

A road has been closed for several hours after a collision between a tanker lorry and a car in Gravesend.
Police were called to the A226 Thames Way, at 11.48am following reports of the crash near traffic lights.
No injuries have been reported but as of 8pm it is understood the road, near the police station, remains closed due to an oil spill.
Part of Vale Road is also said to be shut.
