Rush hour commuters faced another day of disruptions after a lorry overturned this morning.
Emergency services were called to the A2206 in Ebbsfleet at 8.15am after the vehicle spilled a large load of sand in the road.
The incident happened less than 24 hours after a lorry caught fire on the coastbound carriageway of the A2 near the Tollgate junction for the A227.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service and Kent Police cordoned off the A2206 this morning while sand was cleared from the road.
Commuters on their way to Ebbsfleet International were diverted around the incident.
It is not known how long the road will remain closed for.
