Road closed off after assault

A man is in hospital after an attack in the centre of Gravesend.
Police cordoned off an area around Queen Street and later sent forensic officers to carry out examinations.
The road remained closed for several hours on Sunday, while investigations took place.
The 37-year-old man's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening and he is in a stable condition at Darent Valley Hospital.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the assault in the early hours of this morning to contact them.
