A residential road has been shut by police after a car crashed and flipped upside down.

Officers remain at the scene in Dover Road East, Gravesend, which is closed in both directions.

Fire crews are also in attendance, with a witness having reported seeing a woman rescued from the vehicle with "a few cuts and bruises".

The incident happened at just before 7.20pm.

It is not yet known how long the road will be closed for.
