Runners turn out in force for Ben
09:02, 05 May 2009
HUNDREDS of people put on their running shoes on Sunday to raise money in memory of teenager Ben Johnson.
Around 450 of his friends and family gathered at Gravesend Rugby Club to complete a 12-mile race and together try and raise thousands for cancer charity Leukaemia Research.
The Gravesend Grammar School student was just 17 years old when he died of undiagnosed acute Leukaemia in November 2007.
