Sadie Mitchell grabbed a last-gasp equaliser for Gravesend 1sts after they had earlier let a lead slip against Maidstone 2nds on Saturday in East Women’s League Division 2 South.
Lucy Allison set up Hannah Kitchener to score the opener but goals either side of half-time gave the visitors the lead.
It took a penalty corner strike from Mitchell to make it 2-2 in the final minute.
Chris Owen’s double was in vain for Gravesham 1sts as they let a 2-0 lead slip to a 3-2 defeat against Holcombe 3A to stay in the bottom half of Kent Open Premier A.
After going in at half-time 2-0 behind following Owen’s brace, the visitors pulled level and snatched the points after a contentious penalty corner. A depleted 2nds lost 5-0 at HSBC 2nds.
