Police officers seized a samurai sword during an early morning raid in connection with alleged drugs offences.
Detectives investigating the supply of class As in Gravesend discovered a specific phone line was being used to offer heroin and crack cocaine for sale.
They applied for a search warrant yesterday (April 15) before searching a property in the town where a samurai sword was seized and a man was arrested.
Sonny Dunlop, of Gravesend, was later charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, between January 1 and February 14.
He was also charged with possession of a weapon in a private place.
The 19-year-old was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court today (April 16).
He has since been remanded to a hearing at Woolwich Crown Court on May 14.
