A teenager has been arrested in connection with a double stabbing just before Christmas.
The 16-year-old boy from Erith is the second person to be arrested following the incident in St Alban's Close, Gravesend, on Monday, December 5, during which a man in his 40s and a woman in her 30s suffered serious injuries.
A 33-year-old man from Gravesend was arrested that day on suspicion of assault and is on bail until Monday, March 27 pending further inquiries, and the Erith teenager has been bailed until Wednesday, April 12.
Gravesham council's deep cleaning service had to send out two vans to the scene to clean blood from the road after a number of complaints were received, and a bloodstained t-shirt was also spotted bundled on the floor.
It was reported that the injured pair suffered the stab wounds following a disturbance outside shops in Arthur Street.
