A second bid for Ebbsfleet leading goalscorer Michael Gash has been rejected by the club's owners.
Members of MyFootballClub have been voting since Friday on whether to accept a £40,000 bid for Gash from an unnamed Blue Square Premier club.
The deal would have seen £20,000 paid up front, with a further £10,000 following in January and the balance being paid in July 2010. There were no sell-on clauses included in the offer.
Only 164 members were in favour of accepting the bid with 2,002 rejecting it. Twenty-two people abstained.
Two other clubs, one of which had a £30,000 bid rejected last week, are also considering making bids for the striker.
A total of 30 per cent above the £15,000 fee Fleet paid Cambridge City for Gash would go to the Southern League club if he moves as part of a sell-on clause included in the deal.
