Chartered certified accountant and business advisory firm Abbot Accounting provides its services for sole traders, small to medium-sized businesses and charitable organisations from its base in Lord Street, Gravesend.
Founded almost three years ago by Lola Balogun, the company has invested heavily in high quality services being offered using cutting edge of technology.
It invested in top class accounting software, tablets and training to ensure that clients are getting the best value for their money and real time information.
With a mixture of clientele from the medical, legal, childcare and beauty professions, Abbot Accounting Limited is also keen to employ students during the summer.
Mrs Balogun also goes out into the community. She said: “Earlier this year, I was invited to the Northfleet School for Girls career event to hold a workshop. The feedback was positive and the school is looking to invite me again.”
It is hoped during the next five years the company will be trading in Africa and Europe.
Abbot Accounting is one of the entrants in the Dartford and Gravesham Business Awards. This year’s award sponsors are Dartford council, Gravesham council, Barnes Roffe, Kent Business School (University of Kent), the KM Group (Dartford Messenger and Gravesend Messenger), Lloyds Bank, Thomson Snell and Passmore, Edinburgh House and the University of Greenwich.
Entries have now closed. The winner will be announced later this year.
