Strood man charged with seven counts of stalking and assault in Gravesend

A man has been charged with stalking several women including assaulting one alleged victim.
Women came forward with allegations following incidents in Gravesend spanning over 17 months.
Leonard Duke, from Strood, has been charged with a total of seven alleged offences including stalking involving serious alarm and distress, common assault and assault by beating.
The charges were related to allegations made by seven women between April 1, 2021 and September 29, 2022.
One woman and one man also reported being assaulted.
The 47-year-old of Daffodil Road, Strood was remanded in custody and appeared before Medway Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
He is due to appear in Maidstone Crown Court at a date yet to be confirmed.
