Police in Gravesend seize three suspected stolen vehicles after Ford Fiesta located in Swanscombe

A man has been arrested on suspicion of stealing three vehicles and drug dealing.

Police tracked down a suspected stolen Ford Fiesta which was parked in Swanscombe on Thursday afternoon.

The car was found unattended in Gun Road and while on patrol, officers spotted a man acting suspiciously.

Officers carried out an on-the-spot search and arrested a man in his 30s from Greenhithe.

The suspect was taken into custody on suspicion of theft, handling stolen property and possession of Class A and Class B drugs.

The red Fiesta was recovered and police also seized another suspected stolen car and motorcycle along with cannabis and cocaine.

The arrested man has been released under investigation.
