The prospect of receiving A-level results in person wasn't enough to entice many students from their beds this morning.
The KM Group was ready to capture the moment when students rushed to collect their all-important brown envelope early this morning - but an internet checking service means many decided to access their results online instead.
However, among the students who did venture out to collect their grades were twins Laura and Katie Humphreys (pictured above).
And it was a double celebration for the Meopham girls - they received the same grades in exactly the same subjects!
Students were celebrating record breaking results across the country as the pair from Gravesend Grammar School for Girls received news of their clean sweep gaining As in Chemistry, Biology, Maths and History.
Both will now pursue careers in the health industry with Lauren moving to Cambridge to study medicine and Katie gaining entry to Sheffield to study Dentistry.
Competition for university places this year is hotter than ever, with more youngsters looking to continue their studies rather than battle for jobs.
